LEGAL REGULATION OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN UKRAINE AND MONTENEGRO

Abstract

The article is a thorough study of international legal acts that regulate the international economic cooperation between Ukraine and Montenegro. By establishing and implementing its own priorities in relations with foreign countries, including Ukraine, Montenegro implements integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and all regional initiatives, monitors global trends and seeks to integrate them into its interests and capabilities; develops good relations with neighboring countries; develops and maintains friendly relations with the most developed countries of the world; and has undertaken international commitments to fully implement the international economic cooperation of Ukraine and Montenegro and the like. The author analyzes a number of international and national normative acts that ensure and regulate the international economic cooperation of Ukraine and Montenegro. The main ones are: the Constitution of Montenegro; Laws of Montenegro: On Foreign Investments; “On Foreign Trade”; Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on Trade and Economic Cooperation; Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Montenegro; Association and Stabilization Agreement between Montenegro and the EU; Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on the avoidance of double taxation in respect of taxes on income and capital; Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Montenegro on mutual assistance in customs matters; Cooperation Agreement between the Federation of Employers of Ukraine and the Federation of Employers of Montenegro; Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Montenegro on aviation communications; Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Montenegro on cooperation in the field of tourism.

It is determined that the rules governing relations in the sphere of international economic cooperation of Ukraine and Montenegro are also contained in a number of other laws and by-laws that form the system of foreign economic and investment legislation of Montenegro.
