THE PERSONALITY OF THE CRIMINAL AND THE VICTIM IN THE CRIMINALISTIC CHARACTERISTIC OF THE MURDER OF A CHILD OR A WOMAN WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY PREGNANT FOR THE GUILTY

Abstract

In the article, the author identifies and reveals the characteristic features of those who commit intentional murders of a child or a woman who was obviously pregnant for the guilty, and victims of such crimes. Based on the analysis of the materials of relevant criminal proceedings, a typical socio-psychological portrait of such persons was compiled. It has been established that in the overwhelming majority of cases these crimes are committed by male cohabitants against their female partners, or against their joint children, or the children of a female cohabitant partner from a previous marriage. Often, potential criminals and potential victims (pregnant women) jointly consume alcoholic beverages before the crime. The main causes of such killings are quarrels on domestic soil and of doubts of male partners in their fatherhood, anger at young children, who scream, demanding to satisfy their physiological needs.
